— The medallion has been found most in these parks: Como (seven times), Highland and Battle Creek (five) and Cherokee (four).
— The shortest hunts have been three days (1975, 1980, 2007); more than 80 percent of the hunts (since 1991) have continued a week or longer.
— 71 men and 54 women have found the medallion.
— The same team found the medallion twice, in 2007 and 2010.
