Overview

The Golden Rose Medallion hunt is an annual tradition in which hunters fan out through Roseville's many parks during Rosefest in search of the Golden Rose Medallion. The winner(s) get a fabulous prize package of over $500 in gift cards and giveaways from local businesses. 

 

This year's hunt will begin on June 22 and run until June 27, or until the medallion is found. One clue per day will be released.

Hello to all my friends, guess who?
I've been waiting all winter for none other than you!
It's that time of year for me to disappear,
So gather your family and friends and let out a big cheer!
The Oval, Golf Course or Nature Center, no, I will not be.
Rather a park, which one? You'll have to wait and see!
But good luck to all because I'll be hidden quite well
I have no doubt one will find me, it will be oh so swell!

It's great to see all of you exploring around.
But better get going as there are lots of parks in our town.
I'll give you a hint, time to put your thinking caps on,
Because before you know it, I may easily be found.
I'll be waiting as you explore the .1 plus miles of a pathway.
I hope I'll be found in time to attend tonight's Lion King play.

Keep searching my friends I'm out there somewhere,
Here's another clue to keep this hunt fair!
North of the railway is where I reside,
A wooded area is helping me hide.
Until I am spotted, so lonely I'll be,
I doubt I'll be found, it is only day three!
