It’s not too close to water,
But there’s some nearby.
It’s somewhere public with access to all,
just be careful don’t fall.
Explanation:
Butternut Creek can be seen from where the medallion lies; you don’t have to pay to get into Jamesville Beach Park; and the medallion is at the bottom of a slight hill.

Flying pie tins
Plus a Scottish game.
The riddle-solver wins
Treasure Hunter fame.
Explanation:
Jamesville Beach Park has a frisbee disk golf course. Frisbee’s name is a spin-off from a defunct Connecticut bakery, Frisbie Pie Co., where college students often tossed empty pie tins for fun, a habit that led them to refer to “frisbee.” Look near the frisbee golf course. Golf originated in Scotland.

Maybe we’re full of hot air
But this clue is really fair.
Look where the wind looked really strong
Head that way and you can’t go wrong.
Explanation:
Hot air refers to the annual Jamesville Balloon Festival; the treasure is hidden near a tree that is growing horizontally.

Take a hike along the stream
Follow the trail, you’ll see what we mean.
Steps away from a bench carved with a name
Is the place you want to end the game.
Keep your eyes low
And go real slow.
Explanation:
The medallion is low, next to the hiking trail by Butternut Creek by a bench that has “Jamesville Beach” carved into it.
