- The Official 2021 Midwest Communications Winterfest Medallion.
This year’s Midwest Communications 12th Annual Winterfest Medallion Hunt has teamed up with Duluth Lawn and Sport to give you a choice of prizes for finding the treasure!
Check out our Superior Choice Credit Union Clue Page every day for updated clues to the whereabouts of the official disc- hidden somewhere in the Twin Ports – Duluth/Superior/Hermantown/Proctor.
Before you begin, please read the list below to ensure everyone has a fun, safe, and fair hunt.
- The 2021 Winterfest Medallion is made of clear acrylic and is three inches in diameter. It has unique markings and cannot be duplicated. Any forgeries will be easily identifiable. Furthermore, when the medallion is submitted, we will ask you specifically where it was found.
- The winner of the medallion hunt must be at least 18 years of age or older. However, anyone under the age of 18 may search as long as an adult claims the prize and assumes responsibility for any taxes associated with winning.
- The medallion is hidden outdoors on public property somewhere in Minnesota within the city limits of Duluth, Hermantown, and Proctor or in Wisconsin within the city limits of Superior.
- The medallion will be hidden above ground. However, it is possible the medallion will be buried by snow or loose debris (sticks, leaves, etc.).
- No climbing or scaling will be required.
- It will not be necessary to bend or destroy vegetation to find the medallion.
- The medallion will not be hidden within 10 feet of any body of water.
- If property is being damaged, Midwest Communications reserves the right to cancel the contest entirely. See the complete Medallion Hunt Rules for more information.
It is with great disappointment that Midwest Communications has made the decision to immediately CANCEL the Winterfest Medallion Hunt - effective 5:35 pm on 2-12-2021 because of damage and disrespect being done to public property. All prize awards for the medallion hunt have been put on hold and will not be awarded for any finder of the official Winterfest Medallion.
